Social Value
At Matrix, we believe that true success is measured not just by financial performance, but by the positive impact we make on our society and environment. Through our dedicated Social Value team, we strive to make a positive impact on our community, our clients' communities, and beyond.

Voice Out Women
In many communities, there are BAME women facing multiple barriers due to language barriers, lack of qualifications, abuse, and much more. Based in Enfield, Voice Out Women (VOW) empower women to break free from their pasts and adjust to life in their communities.
At Matrix, we support VOW's ambitions and offer free employability workshops to help local woman learn the skills they need to get back into work.
Through advice and support on CV writing, interview techniques, confidence building, networking skills, and more, we help women stand out in a competitive job market and achieve their aspirations.

Helping Care Leavers
Our team support a careers events specifically for care leavers, supporting their mental and emotional well-being by building self-esteem, a sense of purpose, and social connections, which are especially valuable for young people who may lack a traditional support network.
We joined the local ‘Caring Business Charter’ which means when local events are organised to benefit care leavers, the organisers know that we are an organisation that actively supports young people and are able to offer activities like mock interviews, as well as employability and life skills workshops.

Waltham Forest
We support learners of all ages! The team visited Buxton School and delivered a workshop to 150 of their Year 10 students, sharing our knowledge on the different ways of working.
We also recently visited a primary school and engaged their Year 6 learners in a fun project we designed to help them gain workplace skills. Their task was to create the ‘World’s Best Hotel’ in teams!
For older learners in Years 10 and 11, we have offered weekly virtual mock interview slots. For many, it was their first experience of an interview and the feedback was that they appreciated having a safe space to ask questions about interview techniques.
