Social Value
Community engagement, nurturing public trust, and increasing safety have become key priorities for police forces in the UK. At Matrix, we operate with the same priorities in supporting organisations like yours through our solutions and teams that put people and innovation first.
Law enforcement agencies already do lots to support strong relationships with the people they serve and play active an active role in creating healthier, safer, and more resilient communities. By partnering with Matrix Milestone, we can uniquely offer a dedicated social value programme as part of our partnership, that helps to bolster your existing community work and help continue making a difference to the lives of those you serve.
At Matrix, we believe that true success is measured not just by financial performance, but by the positive impact we make on our society and environment. Through our dedicated Social Value team, we strive to make a positive impact on our community, our clients' communities, and beyond. We see ourselves as a community outreach partner to the police force, and our work complements the police's efforts to reduce long-time crime rates and create closer engagement with local communities
Take a look below at some of our most recent projects and discover how we're shaping a positive future for our society and environment:

Voice Out Women (VOW)
In many communities, there are BAME women facing multiple barriers due to language barriers, lack of qualifications, abuse, and much more.
Based in Enfield, VOW empower women to break free from their pasts and adjust to life in their communities.
At Matrix, we support VOW's ambitions and offer free employability workshops to help local woman learn the skills they need to get back into work.
Through advice and support on CV writing, interview techniques, confidence building, networking skills, and more, we help women stand out in a competitive job market and achieve their aspirations.
Supporting Refugees
We want to make the world of work a fairer place for everyone, regardless of their background.
We have partnered with Refugee Action to deliver a series of virtual, tailored employability workshops for refugees, including general topics and also tips on how to find work within the UK.
We also ran Employability Masterclasses and offered one to one support for refugees living in Sutton, in partnership with Refugee and Migrant Network Sutton.
Our most recent initiative is supporting Sanctuary in Chichester, where we’ve already supported 30 asylum seekers with 1:1 employability support!

Tower Hamlets
We always seek to support initiatives that empower care leavers, and Tower Hamlets is no different! We co-designed a day of workshops with a local charity called Settle, that supports local care leavers in their transition to independence.
On the day, we also invited a care leaver from Waltham Forest that the Social Value team had previously supported, to share their experience of joining an apprenticeship is like at their local council!
The workshops covered Goal Setting and Resilience and other topics chosen by the young people in the weeks leading up to the day.
We work with different groups across our clients communities, focusing on those who face additional barriers to employment. Our goal is to give people the tools they need to access good quality work opportunities to raise their standard of living. We take a holistic approach to employability, from teaching people how to write a stand out CV to helping people set goals and build the resilience required to succeed in the workplace.
